REDPOCKET MOBILES CRUISE TO FRIDAY WIN
The Idaho Falls fell to the RedPocket Mobiles by a score of 15-8 on Friday night.
RedPocket came in looking for a statement after allowing more than 20 runs in Ogden the night prior. They began the game with a lead in the top of the second. Two more hits in the top of the third, including a home run from Hector Nieves made the game 3-2.
Idaho Falls responded in the bottom half with back-to-back RBI doubles form OF Sam Canton and INF Justin Trimble.
After a RedPocket run in the fifth and a Chukar run in the sixth, eight total runs were plated in the seventh, with four to each team.
OF Tyler Wyatt would blast a grand slam in the seventh, his second home run in as many days.
It was the fourth grand slam of the season for the Chukars.
What has now seemed to be customary, OF Sam Canton had a three-hit day, as OF Tyler Wyatt now has seven RBI in his last two games.
Idaho Falls will host RedPocket on Saturday, in game two of the three-game weekend set
