BOISE BEATS CHUKARS, CANTON HOMERS AGAIN

Following back-to-back walks, OF Sam Canton hit hits team-leading seventh home run of the season, to give the Chuks a 3-0 lead. The Washington native came into the game leading the Pioneer league with 37 hits, the home run was his 38th.

The drought was broken by RF Cal Royer who singled, and later came around to score off of an RBI-double from C Drew Stengren. Stengren, who has three hits on the season, has seen all three go for extra-base hits.
TWP Mason Collins was the second and last to come out of the bullpen. Collins put four zero’s on the board, retiring 14 of the 18 batters he faced, including a season-high three strikeout’s.
UTL Garret Ostrander ended the day with a pair of hits, including a bases-clearing triple that turned into a little-league home run after an error. In the series, he now has 10 hits and seven runs batted in.
